CATERING POLICIES |
| Facility Charge: | Weddings - $500.00 for first two (2) hours. $100.00 per hour for each additional hour. Time to begin upon arrival of bridal party. |
| Receptions - $175.00 per hour with a three (3) hour minimum | |
| Meetings and Seminars - Charges will be based on length | |
| Luncheons and Dinners - Generally, there is no additional facility charge for hosting a breakfast, luncheon, or dinner; however, a set-up fee may be required depending on the arrangements | |
| Set Up & Clean Up Fee: | Charges vary according to requirements. Formal style wedding set up $400 minimum fee. Meetings, dinners, luncheons may require set up / clean up fee depending on circumstances. |
| Deposit: | $500.00 to secure date. The greater of one-half of the total or $1,000.00 to secure the agreement. |
| Menu Selection: | Final menu selection will be made no later than one (1) week in advance. |
| Guaranteed Number: | The guaranteed number of guests must be submitted no later than one (1) week in advance of the contracted function. |
| Service Charge: | Food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% service charge. All prices, except the service charge are subject to 8% Mississippi sales tax. |
| Valet Parking: | Available upon request. |
| Security: | $25.00 per hour for 50 to 149 people $50.00 per hour for 150 to 249 people $75.00 per hour for 250 or more people |
| Bar Service: | Mississippi law requires all alcoholic beverages for private functions to be purchased from the licensed on-premise retailer. See additional information sheet for selections. |
| Food Service: | No outside caterers permitted. See additional information sheet for selections. |
| Guest Rooms: | Client must book all four (4) guestrooms in house on the day of (or evening before) a wedding depending on the time of the ceremony. |
| Late Functions: | With receptions ending after 8:00 p.m., client must rent all four (4) guestrooms in house for the night of the function. |
| Cancellations: | Cancellations prior to one (1) month before the event may be refunded 85% of the deposit. Cancellations thirty (30) days to one (1) week before the event may be refunded up to 50% of the deposit. Any cancellations one week or less before the event will receive no refund. |
| The Duff Green Mansion has been serving Vicksburg for sixteen years and has hosted hundreds of Weddings, Receptions and other successful functions. These policies have been developed to help make each event run as smoothly as possible. We will be as flexible as practicable to accommodate any special requests or budgetary requirements. |
